Yes, though a relatively light one — Core Web Vitals feeds Google's page experience signals. The stronger argument is commercial: faster pages convert better and lower your ad costs, so the work pays for itself regardless of its ranking weight.

It will help and it will not be enough. Caching hides a slow site from repeat visitors; it does not fix oversized images, render-blocking scripts or layout shift. We use caching as one step, not as the strategy.

Green in field data matters far more than the lab number. Chasing 100 in Lighthouse often means optimising for the test rather than for actual visitors. We target passing Core Web Vitals for real users on mobile.

It can, when configured carelessly — third-party widget packs, deep nesting and per-page styling. A disciplined Elementor build with flexbox containers and controlled asset loading passes Core Web Vitals comfortably.

It depends entirely on what is wrong. Sites with unoptimised images and plugin bloat often improve dramatically; sites already reasonably built see smaller gains. The audit tells you the realistic ceiling before you commit.
